This policy explains what data we collect through ddd-sova.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be long.
Our services are provided in Serbia and this policy is governed by Serbian law. If any wording differs between the Serbian and English version, the Serbian version prevails.

We are not required to appoint a data protection officer under Article 56 of the Serbian Personal Data Protection Act, because our processing does not involve regular and systematic monitoring of a large number of individuals, nor large-scale processing of special categories of data.
So it is clear before we get to what we do:
If you only read the site and send us nothing, we learn nothing about you beyond what any web server technically records in order to deliver the page (see section 4).
Through the contact form:
| Data | Required | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Full name | yes | so we know who we are talking to |
| E-mail address | yes | so we can reply |
| Phone number | no | if you would rather we call than write |
| Message | yes | so we understand the problem |
The time of submission is recorded with each enquiry. Your IP address is not written into the message we receive and is not stored with the enquiry. The server uses it only at the moment of sending, in a hashed and unreadable form, as a counter that keeps the form from being abused for spam. That counter is deleted within 30 days at most.
Whatever you write in the message. People describing a problem often include the address of the property, the type of premises and a description of the pest, and sometimes details of another person (a building manager or a tenant, for example). Please do not include more data than we need to understand the problem, and in particular do not include health data or other sensitive information.
If you write by e-mail or call us, we process what you tell us that way — your number, the address of the property and the content of your message.
What the site does not collect: there are no user accounts, no comments, no newsletter list, and no file upload.
Like any web server, our hosting provider records standard access logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser type). These exist for server security and operation and we do not use them to track individual visitors. Their retention period is determined by the hosting provider.
| Purpose | Legal basis (Personal Data Protection Act, Art. 12) |
|---|---|
| Answering your enquiry and providing information | Steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 12(1)(2)) |
| Assessing the problem and the need for a site visit, and preparing a quote | Steps taken at your request prior to a contract |
| Scheduling, attending the site and performing the service | Performance of a contract (Art. 12(1)(2)) |
| Communicating with you during and after the service | Performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in orderly communication (Art. 12(1)(6)) |
| Issuing the work order and keeping records of the service performed | Legal obligation and performance of a contract (Art. 12(1)(3) and (2)) |
| Issuing invoices and keeping business records | Legal obligation (tax and accounting regulations) |
| Protecting the form from abuse | Our legitimate interest in keeping the site usable and free of spam (Art. 12(1)(6)) |
| Establishing or defending a legal claim, should a dispute arise | Our legitimate interest (Art. 12(1)(6)) |
We rely on consent only where we explicitly ask for it and you explicitly give it. Answering your enquiry does not require consent — you contacting us is the request itself.
Providing your data is not a legal obligation. But without a name, a contact and a description of the problem we cannot reply or attend the site.
We do not sell, rent or pass your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Transfers abroad: the website and the mailbox are held by a hosting provider in the Republic of Serbia. If we ever move to a service whose servers are outside Serbia, we will update this policy.
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| The enquiry and correspondence in the mailbox | As long as needed for the purpose it was collected for — to reply, attend the site and complete the work, plus a reasonable period afterwards for possible complaints. Once the purpose ends, we delete it. |
| Work orders and records of treatments performed | For the period required by the regulations governing disinfection, pest and rodent control |
| Invoices and business records | For the period required by tax and accounting regulations |
| Technical record of a failed form submission | Contains only the time and the technical error, none of your data. Deleted within 30 days. |
| Technical counters protecting the form from abuse | 30 days at most |
If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will — except for what we are legally required to keep, such as issued invoices.
In relation to the data we process, you have the right to:
Send your request to sovabeograd@gmail.com or info@ddd-sova.com, or call +381 64 115-0-390. We respond without delay and within 30 days at the latest. If a request is complex, that period may be extended and we will tell you.
If you believe we have done something wrong, you have the right to lodge a complaint with:
Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection
Bulevar kralja Aleksandra 15, 11120 Belgrade, Serbia
www.poverenik.rs
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your data from being lost or reaching anyone who has no right to it. The site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to the mailbox and to client data is limited to people who need it for their work.
No transmission over the internet is absolutely secure and we cannot guarantee that it is. Please do not send us sensitive data through the contact form.
The site is intended for adults and legal entities, and we do not knowingly collect data about children. If we learn we have received a child's data without a proper basis, we will delete it.
We may change this policy if the way we handle data changes — for example if the site ever gains analytics or an embedded map. Every change is published on this page with a new update date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also announce it on the home page.
